Learning English as a second language isn’t impossible , but it requires certain things to make the learning process smoother.
We try to list some of the useful ways that could help in a way or another to acquire the language.


تعلم اللغه الإنجليزيه ليس مستحيلا ً ولكنه يتطلب بعض الإرشادات التي تجعل من عملية التعلم أسهل .
وسوف نحاول عرض بعض بعض الإرشادات التي تساعد بطريقه أو باخرى على إكتساب اللغه .





1)- Motivation : دافع أو حافز

you can’t learn anything if you don’t have the appetite to take it. Before you decide to learn English you should first convince yourself of liking it . This makes your learning goes faster.

عند تعلم أي شئ يجب ان يكون لدى المتعلم قابلية لتناول هذا الشئ . قبل ان تقرر تعلم اللغه يجب ان تقنع نفسك بتقبلها فذلك يجعل من عملية التعلم اسرع.

2)- Use the Dictionary : إستخدم القاموس

using the dictionary is a useful way that help look up the meaning of difficult words . It’s a successful way to have plenty of vocabularies .

إستخدام القاموس من أفضل و انجح الطرق في تعلم اللغه , حيث يسهّل إيجاد معاني الكلمات الصعبه والغامضه وأيضا ً يساعد في بناء حصيله لغويه من المفردات لا بأس بها .


* you should be careful in buying a dictionary .
Choose the dictionary for learners & the one that contains phonetic transcription .

يجب ان تكون حذر عند إختيارك للقاموس . وإحرص ان تختار النوع المصمم لمتعلمي اللغه المبتدئين والذي يحوي على طريقة نطق الكلمة .




* Some good dictionaries are : .
- Collins COBUILD English Dictionary for advanced learners .
It can be found on a CD.
من القواميس الجيده هو : Collins COBUILD English Dictionary for advanced learners


ويتوفر هذا القاموس على قرص لتسهيل البحث والنطق على المتعلم .

3)- Avoid Mistakes : تجنب الأخطاء

Try to use correct English . When you speak or write anything in English
use only correct sentences.

حاول تجنب الاخطاء قدر الإمكان . فمثلا لا تتحدث ولا تكتب الا الجمل الصحيحه لغويا ً .

How can you avoid mistakes?

* learn the pronunciation of any word before you say it .

تعلم نطق الكلمة الصحيح قبل ان تنطقها .

*When speaking & writing in English use simple forms.
عندما تتحدث أو تكتب حاول ان تستخدم الأسلوب البسيط .



4)- Learning Pronunciation : تعلم نطق الكلمات

It’s important since it’s the first thing that people notice about your
language.
طريقتك في نطق الكلمات وصوت حروفها هي من أول مايلاحظه الناس عندما تتحدث .

* you should learn the sounds of each letter & the sounds

when combining two letters .

حتى يكون نطقك صحيحا يجب ان تتعلم النطق الصحيح لكل حرف على حده وصوت الحرف عندما تتجتمع مع بعضها .

* Try to read & listen to English sentences . and try to make similar sentences yourself.

حاول ان تقرا وتسمع للجمل أكثر وبعد ذلك حاول ان تكون جمل مشابهه بنفسك .

* Since grammar rules are difficult , try to forget them when you speak in English.

بما ان القواعد اللغويه صعبه فعندما تريد ان تتحدث حاول أن تنسى القواعد اللغويه ..لأنك لو فكرت بها فسوف تجد صعوبه في التحدث..

* Try to read a lot . When you start reading stop at any word or phrase & get it’s meaning from the dictionary.

حاول ان تكثر من القراءه . وتوقف عند الكلمات أو العبارات الغير مفهومه وأنظر معناها في القاموس.

Try to avoid your previous mistake and learn from it

I agree with you that we learn from our mistakes …

But concerning beginners , who’s not native speakers ,

they need to use correct English when speaking .

I mean by correct English here is using the correct words

& expressions. Concerning grammatical rules , beginners

don’t need to pay a hard attention to it.

Because , the mind will be busy with it & not able to

communicate .

If you read the last page above you’ll get what I mean .

I want to add something else ,,

when you use english don"t hesitate speak immediately


try to speak english as you can with people whom speak english even they are able to speak arabic
as in hospitals , shpos , , ,,

Haboooob really you are the hero in the english section here
